Election update + prayer points
There are 10 more days until the Federal election and God is up to something! These are exciting times and it is no coincidence that this year’s Feast of Tabernacles starts on Monday, October 14 (Thanksgiving day) and goes until Monday, October 21 (Election day).
This feast is ordained by God to be a joyful holiday. Seven days are to celebrate and on the 8th day (which is the election) is a solemn (serious) assembly. nly our faithful Father could have planned the timing of this. We as Christians, have an opportunity to enter into this celebration. By positioning our hearts to be thankful for God’s provision, as well as trusting Him for all of our future needs, we can release our worship to Him. As we do, another element of the feast can be fulfilled which is our God dwelling with us. His Presence is the most precious thing in our lives and without Him, we aren’t able to shine.
So, we declare these scriptures over the Ekkesia and over Canada. . .
Rev. 21:3 “. . . And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God…”
John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made His home among us. We have seen His glory, glory like that of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth.
John 7:37-38 On the last “great day of the feast”, He stood in the Temple and cried out: “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.”
Rev. 21:5 And the one sitting on the throne said “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega – the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.
As we celebrate our King and His goodness this week, we open ourselves up to be His resting place, where He can tabernacle here on earth, touching heaven and changing earth.
Last week, Faytene mentioned, that Party strategists are all pointing to door knocking as the most effective way to reach supporters in this election. So, we ask in Jesus name, that the Ekklesia and all Canadians would hear that knock from our King Jesus and open the door to let Him come in.
Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
So, we decree and declare on behalf of the Ekklesia and Canada. . . . COME IN LORD JESUS, COME IN!
