Children hold a special place in our hearts at CFT and you’ll notice that we love having them at our worship services. It can get a little wild, but that’s okay! It’s important to us that our children know they have a place in the body and that they can learn to express themselves in their relationship with Jesus in a safe and supportive space.

If you are joining us, below are some forms to fill out and a few guidelines that will help you feel confident as a parent/guardian. As you read through, feel free to contact us with any questions.

Sundays at CFT

On Sunday mornings at 10am, all ages gather in the sanctuary for to worship together at our morning service. Look for the art corner where the children gather to listen to what Holy Spirit is saying and write or draw it out. You’ll be encouraged as some of the most profound truths have come from our children at the art corner.

After worship is done at 11am, the children ages 6 months to 11 years begin to transition to their classes. Each class uses tailored curriculum and equipped teachers who created a safe, welcoming space for children to learn. The curriculum is Bible-based and suited for each age level with a focus on connection with God and others.

Below are the classes we currently offer and any details you need to know.

Nursery Class

6 months - 3 years

The nursery opens 15 minutes before service so you can drop off your diaper bags and snacks.

Drop Off: At the beginning of class, you will sign your child in and drop them off at the classroom. Please note: If your child is having a difficult time through worship, feel free to come to the nursery classroom early and stay with your child until the teacher comes at 11am.

Snacks: Please bring and label your snacks and sippy cup or bottle for your child so we can make sure it stays with your child.

Diaper Changes: If your child needs a diaper change during the time of your stay, and usher or Ministry Leader will come to get you in the service.

Pick Up: After service, you can pick up and sign out your child at the classroom door. We encourage one parent to pick up because of the limited space around the door. See our policies for more detailed information on Release of Care.

kinder Class

ages 4 - 5 years

Drop Off: At the beginning of class, you will drop your child off at the classroom or you can send them with the teacher.

Snacks: The church provides snack and a glass of water for your child.
